Vault doors and strongroom doors
The two terms overlap. In practice a vault door is the heaviest class of strongroom door, used where a bank, cash centre or business keeps large amounts of cash or valuables and needs the most time-consuming door to attack.

Bank vault doors
Banks and financial institutions are among our clients. For bank vaults we typically specify the heaviest plate, multiple locks and dual control, so no single person can open the vault alone.
- Dual-control locking: two combinations, or a combination and a key held by different staff.
- Motorised time locks that keep the vault shut outside banking hours, and time-delay locks against robbery under duress.
- Electronic audit-trail locks that record every opening.
- Heavy bolt work on the lock side.
- Inner day gate so the vault can stay ventilated while staffed.
